I am a 21-year-old M.Sci. Zoology student, completely enthused by wildlife and the natural world. Since I was very young, my heart lied in feeding my curious thirst for exploring nature, and in writing. Since then I have grown up to develop a passion for Science communication.
I am now Deputy Science Editor of the University of Nottingham Magazine, Impact, working to promote awareness of nature and conservation amongst students.
I also have a range of volunteering experience:
- Nightjar conservation
- Ringing of: migratory birds on the coast, Tawny owlets, small passerine birds and Woodcock.
- Traveled to Madagascar, working with Operation Wallacea to help gain protection for the forests that are being destroyed.
- Wildlife blogging, writing about a range of issues from the controversial topic of the badger cull right up to day-to-day of our local furry residents
